auDA Committed to Bring Pacific ccTLDs to APTLD77

APTLD has received AUD20,000 in target grant from auDA, the .AU ccTLD administrator and an APTLD Member.

The funding is to facilitate the participation of APTLD Members from the Southern Pacific in the 77th APTLD Members Meeting and AGM to be held in Melbourne, Australia, on 20-21 February 2020.

“APTLD would like to thank auDA’s Board and management for the most generous contribution, which is yet another manifestation of one of our key Member’s commitment to the joint agenda developed and implemented under the aegis of APTLD and in the spirit of cooperation at our Association”,- says Mr. Leonid Todorov, General Manager of APTLD.

auDA looks forward to hosting APTLD77 and welcoming its regional Asia- and Indo-Pacific friends and colleagues to Melbourne.

auDA is committed to promoting international discussion on Internet governance and cooperation in the region, consistent with Australia’s International Cyber Engagement Strategy.

APTLD (Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association) is an organisation for ccTLD (country-code Top Level Domain) registries in the Asia Pacific region.
APTLD works as the forum of information exchange regarding technological and operational issues of domain name registries in Asia Pacific region.
Also, as an interface to other international Internet coordinating bodies, APTLD fosters and elevates participation of AP ccTLDs in these global fora, as well as acting in the best interest of APTLD members in global Internet policy making process.
